Una interesante, novedosa y rigurosa panorámica sobre qué es la relatividad, la cosmología y sobre todo el gran arquitecto del universo, la GRAVEDAD.

Retrato panorámico del fenómeno físico GRAVEDAD tal y como es entendido en la actualidad. Desde la enunciación de la Teoría General de la Relatividad por el físico Albert Einstein en 1915, la gravedad como ámbito de investigación se ha desarrollado hasta constituir un rico entramado, de forma que puede observarse la expansión de su radio de relevancia hasta contener por completo al universo, cerrando así todas las escalas.

Para recorrer este TERRITORIO GRAVEDAD contaremos con una serie de personales que ejercen de guías narrativos. Sus diferentes formas de enfrentarse al entramado gravitatorio proporcionarán al espectador diferentes perspectivas que darán lugar a una completa visión global.

GRAVITY LAND

A panoramic portrait of the physical phenomenon called GRAVITY as it is understood at present.

Since the inception of General Relativity by Albert Einstein in 1915, GRAVITY as a research area has but growed till forming an extremely rich framework encompassing the universe as a whole. A journey throughout a vast land, from the GPS of our mobile phones to the behaviour of galaxies, passing by satellites, stars, black holes and the recently detected gravitational waves.

To visit all this gravity land we count with a number of fictional characters that will guide us through the scientific contents over 11 CAPS. Also with interviews and encounters with many real specialists in the subject matter. Their different ways to approach the gravitational framework will provide the viewers with different perspectives producing a rich global experience.

GRAVITY LAND is an audiovisual TV series project promoted by the Spanish Society of Gravitation and Relativity SEGRE, developed mainly by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and co-produced by LIPSSYNC MEDIALAB SRL. Today, it is funded by Science and Technology Spanish Foundation (FECYT), Institute of Astrophysics of Canarias (IAC), Astrophysics and Cosmology Research Center of Aragon (CEFCA), Institute of Space Sciences –with the ESA pathfinder project-, Foundational Questions Institute, FQXi (USA), Iles Balears University and regional founds of the European Union. We also have the support of the Spanish Centers Confederation of UNESCO, in order to get the patronage of the international organization to this project.
